Aliant Telecom Inc.

Migration of several services to the Aliant Telecom General Tariff

1.

The Commission received an application by Aliant Telecom Inc. (Aliant Telecom), dated 13 February 2003, to revise NBTel Inc. and NewTel Communications Inc. General Tariffs in order to migrate the following services to the Aliant Telecom General Tariff:

· Automatic Line Service to item 350;
· Intercommunicating Systems to item 352;
· Suppressed ringing service to item 354;
· Province wide switched suppressed ringing service access service to item 356; and
· Data line support service to item 358.

Aliant Telecom submitted that the proposed migration will have no impact on the rates, terms and conditions of the tariffs, and the revisions are primarily of a housekeeping nature.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

4.

The Commission approves Aliant Telecom's application. The revisions take effect as of 1 April 2003.
