Promotion to waive service charges for voice mail service

1.

The Commission received an application by Thunder Bay Telephone, dated 20 February 2003, to introduce item 6, Telephone Features Campaign - Waiver of Service Charges for Voice Mail - Personal Services, under section TB490 of its General Tariff in order to extend the promotion allowing all customers currently equipped with Touch-Tone to subscribe without service charge to Voice Mail - Personal services, from 3 March 2003 to 27 February 2004.

During this promotion, customers not equipped with Touch-Tone will be allowed to upgrade their service to Touch-Tone with no service charge.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

The Commission approves Thunder Bay Telephone's application.

5.

Thunder Bay Telephone is to issue revised tariff pages forthwith reflecting this decision effective on the date of issuance.
