Telecom Order CRTC 2003-203

Ottawa, 26 May 2003

Saskatchewan Telecommunications

Reference: Tariff Notice 46

Remote Call Forwarding service

1.

The Commission received an application by Saskatchewan Telecommunications (SaskTel), dated 16 April 2003, to introduce General Tariff - Basic Services item 150.16, Remote Call Forwarding. The new item allows residence and business customers to subscribe to a local telephone number in a distant or local exchange. All calls placed to the Remote Call Forwarding (RCF) number are automatically re-directed to the telephone number subscribed to by the customer.

2.

In its application, SaskTel submitted that it had inadvertently omitted RCF from the company's tariffs approved in Tariffs and associated form agreements, Order CRTC 2000-604, 29 June 2000 (Order 2000-604). SaskTel also requested that, pursuant to section 25(4) of the Telecommunications Act, the Commission ratify the rates charged for RCF for the period of 30 June 2000, the effective date of the tariffs approved in Order 2000-604, to the effective date of this order.

3.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

4.

The Commission approves SaskTel's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this order.
