Terms of Service

1.

The Commission received an application by La Compagnie de Téléphone Upton Inc. (Upton), dated 14 July 2003 and amended on 16 October 2003, to revise item 1.2.11, Confidentiality of Customer Records, under section 1.2 of its General Tariff in order to add a list of the acceptable methods for obtaining express consent for the disclosure of confidential customer information, as directed in Confidentiality provisions of Canadian carriers, Telecom Decision CRTC 2003-33, 30 May 2003, as amended by Telecom Decision CRTC 2003-33-1, 11 July 2003.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

3.

The Commission approves Upton's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this order.

4.

Upton is to issue revised tariff pages forthwith to reflect these changes.
