Telecom Order CRTC 2003-87

Ottawa, 21 February 2003

TELUS Communications Inc.

Reference: Tariff Notice 81

900 Service

1.

The Commission received an application by TELUS Communications Inc. (TCI), dated 17 January 2003, in order to migrate the rates, terms and conditions from the National Services Tariff item 515, 900 Service, to the General Tariff item 521, for the provision of 900 Service in the company's operating territories in Alberta and British Columbia.

2.

TCI noted that, coincident with this application, Bell Canada was filing Tariff Notice 750 which proposed to remove reference to the former TCI and TELUS Communications (B.C.) Inc. from the National Services Tariff item 515.

3.

In its application, TCI also proposed to replace the term "carriers" with "TCI" and to revise the list of holidays to reflect applicable holidays in Alberta and British Columbia. The company also indicated that its current approved 900 Service Provider Agreement, 900 Accounts Receivable Management Agreement and Alternate Billing Arrangement Agreement are not being revised.

4.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

5.

The Commission approves TCI's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this order.
