The Commission received an application by EastLink, dated 7 July 2004, to revise General Tariff item 403.4, Interconnection with Wireless Service Providers - Line-side Access, in order to reflect the revised line-side access rates for interconnection with wireless service providers approved in Aliant Telecom Inc. - Wireless access service and paging access services, Telecom Order CRTC 2003-329, 13 August 2003. EastLink also requested that the proposed rates be effective 13 August 2003. EastLink also proposed that the Check Page be effective 31 August 2004. |

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application. |

The Commission notes that the rates in EastLink's tariff are interim. Therefore, the Commission finds that EastLink's proposal to approve the proposed rates retroactive to 13 August 2003 is reasonable. |

The Commission approves on an interim basis EastLink's application. The revisions take effect as of 13 August 2003, with the exception of the revisions to the Check Page which take effect as of 31 August 2004. |

EastLink is to issue revised tariff pages forthwith to reflect these changes. |
