Interconnection agreement between local exchange carriers

1.

The Commission received an application by NorthernTel Limited Partnership (NorthernTel), dated 23 January 2004, for approval of the Master Agreement for Local Interconnection (the agreement) between NorthernTel and O.N.Tel Inc., carrying on business as O.N.Telcom.

2.

The proposed agreement sets out the terms and conditions for the provision of local interconnection facilities and termination service between NorthernTel's and O.N.Telcom's networks.

3.

The master agreement between NorthernTel and O.N.Telcom reflects the current schedules approved by the Commission in CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee - Consensus Items, Telecom Decision CRTC 2003-35, 4 June 2003.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

5.

The Commission approves NorthernTel's application.
