  Application by Vidéotron ltée, CF Cable TV Inc. and Videotron (Regional) Ltd. (collectively referred to as Vidéotron) to amend the licences of its cable distribution undertakings serving the above-mentioned locations.
  Vidéotron proposes to distribute the signals of two distant Canadian stations, CFTO-DT (CTV Toronto) and CIII-DT-41 (Global Toronto), exclusively as part of its digital service and in high definition (HD), until similar Montreal network stations begin broadcasting in HD.
  The licensee states that the carriage of these signals would enhance the diversity of Canadian programming in these markets.
  CFTO-DT (CTV Toronto) and CIII-DT-41 (Global Toronto) confirm that they will not accept local advertising from these distant markets.
  This application supersedes application 2003-1772-8, which was published in Broadcasting Public Notice CRTC 2004-31 on 5 May 2004.

  A true copy must be sent to the applicant and proof that this has been done must accompany the intervention sent to the Commission.
  The Commission advises those who file and serve by electronic mode to exercise caution when using e-mail for service of documents or notification, as it may be difficult to establish that service has occurred.
