Revocation of licence

1. In CJTN Quinte West - Conversion to FM band, Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2004-58, 30 January 2004, the Commission approved an application by Quinte Broadcasting Company Limited for a broadcasting licence to operate an FM radio programming undertaking at Quinte West (formerly Trenton) to replace its AM station CJTN. The new FM station is now in operation.
2. Quinte Broadcasting Company Limited has now requested the revocation of its licence for the radio programming undertaking CJTN Trenton.
3. Given the licensee's request, the Commission revokes, pursuant to sections 9(1)(e) and 24(1) of the Broadcasting Act, the broadcasting licence issued to Quinte Broadcasting Company Limited for CJTN Trenton.
