Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2005-180

  Ottawa, 29 April 2005
  Native Communication Inc.
Thompson and Lake Manitoba, Manitoba
  Application 2004-1396-4
roadcasting Public Notice CRTC 2005-19
28 February 2005

Deadline to commence operations

1.

The Commission approves the application by Native Communication Inc. for an extension of the time limit to commence the operation of the new transmitter of CINC-FM Thompson in Lake Manitoba, authorized in Licence amendments for CINC-FM, Decision CRTC 2000-32, 3 February 2000 (Decision 2000-32).

2.

The Commission grants the licensee a final extension to the implementation date for this transmitter and extends to 2 February 2006, the deadline to commence operation of this transmitter.

3.

The Commission notes that this is the licensee's fifth request for an extension to implement its authority.

4.

The transmitter must be operational at the earliest possible date and in any event no later than 2 February 2006. The licensee's failure to meet the new implementation deadline set out herein will cause the authority granted in Decision 2000-32 to become null and void.
5. The Commission did not receive any interventions in connection with this application.
