Deadline to commence operations

1.

The Commission approves the application by Russel C. Cook, on behalf of a non-profit corporation to be incorporated, for an extension of the time limit to commence the operation of the radio programming undertaking to serve Opaskwayak Cree Nation near The Pas, authorized in New low-power Type B FM native radio programming undertaking, Decision CRTC 2000-132, 28 April 2000.

This is the applicant's fifth request for an extension of the time limit to commence the operation of this undertaking.

The Commission did not receive any interventions in connection with this application.

The licence for this undertaking will be issued once the applicant has informed the Commission in writing that it is prepared to commence operations. The undertaking must be operational at the earliest possible date and in any event no later than 25 October 2005, unless a request for an extension of time is approved by the Commission before that date. In order to ensure that such a request is processed in a timely manner, it should be submitted at least 60 days before that date.
