CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee - Consensus item

Consensus report submitted to the CISC Steering Committee

1.

The Canadian Steering Committee on Numbering (CSCN) submitted a consensus report to the CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee (CISC) Steering Committee (SC).

2.

On 30 June 2005, the SC approved and referred the following report to the Commission for consideration:
 

CSCN TIF Report 50 re: TIF 64 COCA GL Section 4.3 Shared CO Codes and Impacts on TN Portability, 18 May 2005 (CNRE050A). The CSCN reached consensus on procedures for Central Office (CO) Code holders to identify to requesting telecommunications service providers, telephone numbers that are categorized by Telcordia as portable but are not because the numbers in question are allocated to wireless service providers and/or paging service providers.

The report is available through the Commission's website.

The Commission has reviewed and approves the above noted consensus report.
