  Application by The Sports Network Inc. to amend the licence of the national Category 2 specialty programmingundertaking known as ESPN Classic Canada (ESPN Classic).
  The licensee proposes to change the nature of its service by deleting the following two portions of its nature of service condition of licence:
 

- The service shall provide a retrospective on sports events that occurred at least 18 months prior to the broadcast day on which they are aired by the service

 

- The licensee shall not provide any live event coverage.

  and replacing it with the following:
 

- The licensee may broadcast live sports events coverage, provided the hours devoted to such broadcasting do not exceed 15% of the licensee's quarterly broadcast schedule.

  The applicant offers that approval of this amendment application will serve to improve the financial viability of the service.

  Application by Sound of Faith Broadcasting relating to the licence of radio programming undertaking CJFH-FM Woodstock.
  The licensee proposes to change the authorized contours by increasing the effective radiated power from 50 to 250 watts, by increasing the antenna height and by relocating the transmitter.
  The authorized contours of the station will be changed significantly resulting from the above technical changes.
  The Commission notes that the increase in power would result in a change of the CJFH-FM status from a low power unprotected service to a regular Class A1 FM station.
  The licensee wishes to increase the quality of the signal of the transmitter.

  A true copy must be sent to the applicant and proof that this has been done must accompany the intervention sent to the Commission.
  The Commission advises those who file and serve by electronic mode to exercise caution when using e-mail for service of documents or notification, as it may be difficult to establish that service has occurred.
  Before initiating service through electronic mode, please ensure that you will be able to satisfy the Commission, upon request, that service of the notification was completed.
  Where the intervention is filed by electronic means, the line ***End of document*** should be entered following the last paragraph of the document, as an indication that the document has not been damaged during electronic transmission.
