RE:     Part VII applications by Bell Canada and TELUS Communications Company regarding a Request for Proposals by Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) for Converged Network Services (CNS)

On 27 March 2006 , the Commission received comments from MTS Allstream Inc. (MTS Allstream) with respect to Part VII applications filed by TELUS Communications Company (TCC) and Bell Canada (Bell Canada), dated 24 February and 7 March 2006 respectively, regarding a recently concluded tendering process for the provision of Converged Network Services to the Government of Canada that was conducted by Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) and which resulted in the award of the contract to MTS Allstream.

MTS Allstream is requested to show cause, by no later than 17 May 2006, as to why the information submitted in the last sentence of paragraph 26 and footnote 7 of the company's comments for which the company made a claim for confidentiality should not be placed on the public record.
