  Further to its Broadcasting Notices of Public Hearing CRTC 2006-5, dated 12 June 2006 and CRTC 2006-5-1, dated 8 September 2006 relating to a public hearing which will be held commencing on Monday 27 November 2006 at 9:00 a.m. at the Conference Centre, Phase IV, 140 Promenade du Portage, Gatineau, Quebec, the Commission announces the following:

Fast ForwardT Trend Analysis prepared for the CRTC

  Solutions Research Group Consultants Inc. (SRG) was commissioned by the CRTC to conduct a custom analysis of technology and media trends based on SRG's ongoing Fast ForwardT trend study with the goal of creating an objective reference document that would form part of the public record, in response to the call for comments on a request by the Governor in Council, pursuant to section 15 of the Broadcasting Act and the CRTC review of certain aspects of the regulatory framework for over-the-air television.
