Application No. 2006-1058-6
Application by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) to amend the licence of radio programming undertaking CBCT-FM Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
The licensee proposes to add an FM transmitter at St. Edward to broadcast the programming of CBCT-FM Charlottetown, in order to serve the population of St. Edward.
The transmitter would operate on frequency 101.1 MHz (channel 266B1) with an average effective radiated power of 1,910 watts (maximum effective radiated power of 6,500 watts/antenna height of 109.6 metres).

If the application to convert CBA Moncton to the FM band is approved, the residents of St. Edward would no longer receive the current CBA-AM signal.
