CFVZ-FM Moose Jaw - Licence renewal

1.

The Commission renews the broadcasting licence for the English-language, low-power FM radio programming undertaking CFVZ-FM Moose Jaw, from 1 September 2007 to 31 August 2014.

2.

The Commission did not receive any interventions in connection with this application.

3.

The licence will be subject to the conditions for low-power radio undertakings set out in Policy framework for community-based media, Broadcasting Public Notice CRTC 2002-61, 10 October 2002, as well as to the following conditions:

 

 

  • The licensee shall use the station solely for the purpose of broadcasting the hockey games of the Moose Jaw Warriors and the baseball games of the Moose Jaw Millers, fastball games from Memorial Field, and selected Moose Jaw High School athletic events. This would include all pre and post game shows, and a one-hour noon-time program broadcast Monday to Friday related to the promotion of events and games of the hockey club.

 

 

  • The licensee shall not broadcast musical selections, except as incidental background music.
