Revocation of licence

In CKTK Kitimat - Conversion to FM band, Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2002-438, 12 December 2002, the Commission approved an application by Standard Radio Inc. for a broadcasting licence to operate an FM radio programming undertaking at Kitimat to replace its AM station CKTK Kitimat. The new FM station is now in operation.

Standard Radio Inc. has therefore requested the revocation of its licence for the radio programming undertaking CKTK.

Given the licensee's request, the Commission revokes, pursuant to section 9(1)(e) and 24(1) of the Broadcasting Act, the broadcasting licence issued to Standard Radio Inc. for the above-mentioned undertaking.
