CIPR-FM Pigeon River - Licence renewal

1.

The Commission renews the broadcasting licence for the English-language, low-power FM radio programming undertaking CIPR-FM Pigeon River, from 1 September 2008 to 31 August 2015.

2.

The Commission did not receive any interventions in connection with this application.

3.

The licence will be subject to the conditions specified therein and to the conditions set out in the appendix to this decision.

Appendix to Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2008-213

 

Conditions of licence

 

1. The licensee shall use the station solely for the purpose of broadcasting tourist/traveller information consisting of the many attractions and outdoor events, camping facilities, shopping and accommodations in Thunder Bay, as well as historical information.

 

2. The licensee shall not broadcast more than six minutes per clock hour of commercial messages.

 

3. The licensee shall not broadcast any musical selections, except as incidental background music.
