Call for comments on the proposed addition of NDTV GOOD TIMES to the lists of eligible satellite services for distribution on a digital basis

 

Cancellation of proceeding

In Call for comments on the proposed addition of NDTV GOOD TIMES to the lists of eligible satellite services for distribution on a digital basis, Broadcasting Public Notice CRTC 2008-88, 7 October 2008 (Broadcasting Public Notice 2008-88), the Commission initiated a proceeding to consider a request by Asian Television Network International (ATN) to add NDTV GOOD TIMES, a non-Canadian satellite service originating in India, to the lists of eligible satellite services for distribution on a digital basis.

ATN advised the Commission that it wishes to amend the information filed in support of its request. It further indicated an intention to re-file the request. Accordingly, the Commission hereby cancels the proceeding initiated in Broadcasting Public Notice 2008-88.

Should ATN choose to amend the information and/or re-file its request, the Commission may issue another public notice at that time.
