	CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee – Consensus items

1.	The Network Working Group (NTWG) of the CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee (CISC) submitted a consensus report and Internet Protocol (IP) to IP interconnection guidelines (the guidelines) to the CISC Steering Committee (SC).
2.	On 13 February 2009, the SC approved the following consensus report and guidelines and subsequently referred them to the Commission for consideration:
	NTWG – IP to IP Interconnection Guidelines – Consensus Report, 16 December 2008 (NTRE046) along with IP Interconnection Guidelines version 1.0, 16 December 2008. The consensus report recommends the adoption of the guidelines that could be used by two local exchange carriers wishing to interconnect using IP technology.
3.	The consensus report and the guidelines are available on the Commission's website at www.crtc.gc.ca.
4.	The Commission has reviewed and approves the above-noted consensus report and guidelines.
