Revocation of licence

François Labbé has confirmed his eligibility for exemption in accordance with Exemption order respecting certain network operations, Broadcasting Public Notice CRTC 2006-143, 10 November 2006 (Public Notice 2006-143), and has requested the revocation of the licence for the French-language radio network in Thetford Mines, known as Réseau des Appalaches.

Given the licensee's request, the Commission revokes, pursuant to sections 9(1)(e) and 24(1) of the Broadcasting Act, the broadcasting licence issued to François Labbé for the above-mentioned undertaking.

The Commission reminds the operator of this undertaking that it must, at all times, comply with the criteria contained in the exemption order attached to Public Notice 2006-143.
