Revocation of licence

1.

Eastlink Bluewater Communications Inc.1 has requested the revocation of the broadcasting licence for its video-on-demand service authorized to serve the province of Ontario.

Given the licensee's request, the Commission revokes, pursuant to sections 9(1)(e) and 24(1) of the Broadcasting Act, the broadcasting licence issued to Eastlink Bluewater Communications Inc. for the above-mentioned undertaking.

1 Following the acquisition in 2008 of Bluewater TV Cable Inc. (Bluewater) by Oxford Communications Incorporated, the parent corporation of Bragg Communications Inc. (transaction approved administratively by the Commission on 22 March 2010), Bluewater and its subsidiaries amalgamated on 22 November 2008 with Eastlink Bluewater Communications Inc. to continue as Eastlink Bluewater Communications Inc.
