Changes to procedure
1. With this notice, the Commission amends Review of the Commissioner for Complaints for Telecommunications Services, Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2010-247, 30 April 2010. Specifically, the Commission amends the date of the public consultation set out in paragraph 15 to 29 November 2010, and removes paragraph 16. The Commission expects that parties will have an opportunity to make their final arguments orally at the public consultation. The Commission will outline the organization and conduct of the public consultation prior to the date on which it will occur.
2. Since the public consultation will now occur after the Commissioner for Complaints for Telecommunications Services (CCTS) publishes its 2009-2010 annual report in October 2010, the Commission considers that it is no longer necessary for the CCTS to make 2009-2010 complaint data available on the public record by 1 September 2010 as the Commission had originally requested.
