Radio network associated with CFTM-FM Montréal – Revocation of licence

  1. TVA Group Inc. has requested the revocation of the broadcasting licence for its radio network associated with CFTM-FM Montréal, Quebec. The licensee stated that this radio network meets the criteria for exemption set out in the appendix to Exemption order respecting certain network operations, Broadcasting Public Notice CRTC 2006-143, 10 November 2006.
  2. Given the licensee’s request, the Commission revokes, pursuant to sections 9(1)(e) and 24(1) of the Broadcasting Act, the broadcasting licence issued to TVA Group Inc. for the above-mentioned radio network.
  3. The Commission notes that the revocation of the broadcasting licence for this radio network will not in any way affect the broadcasting licence for CFTM-FM.
