Radio network associated with CKLE-FM Bathurst/Caraquet – Revocation of licence

  1. Radio de la Baie ltée has requested the revocation of the broadcasting licence for its radio network associated with CKLE-FM Bathurst/Caraquet, New Brunswick. The licensee stated that this radio network meets the criteria for exemption set out in the appendix to Exemption order respecting certain network operations, Broadcasting Public Notice CRTC 2006-143, 10 November 2006.
  2. Given the licensee’s request, the Commission revokes, pursuant to sections 9(1)(e) and 24(1) of the Broadcasting Act, the broadcasting licence issued to Radio de la Baie ltée for the above-mentioned radio network.
  3. The Commission notes that the revocation of the broadcasting licence for this radio network will not in any way affect the broadcasting licence for CKLE-FM.
