Further to Broadcasting Notices of Consultation 2012-475, 2012-475-1, 2012-475-2, 2012-475-3 and 2012-475-4, the Commission received a request from Golden West Broadcasting Ltd. to withdraw its application from the current proceeding in order to amend and refile its application with new technical parameters. As a result, the Commission announces the following information regarding items 4 and 18 (the changes are in bold):

Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
Application by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) for a broadcasting licence to operate a new French-language FM radio programming undertaking in Winnipeg to replace CKSB St-Boniface (Première Chaîne) and its nested FM rebroadcasting transmitter CKSB-10-FM Winnipeg and to revoke the broadcasting licence for CKSB after a three-month simulcast period.

This application is technically mutually exclusive with an application by Golden West Broadcasting Ltd. (2012-0446-1), which will also be considered at this hearing.
At the request of the applicant, the following item is withdrawn from this hearing and will be rescheduled at a later date:

Application by Golden West Broadcasting Ltd. for a broadcasting licence to operate an English-language FM commercial radio programming undertaking in Steinbach.
This application is technically mutually exclusive with an application by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (2012-0816-6), which will also be considered at this hearing.
