Dear Mr. Poulton,

Re: Broadcasting application 2013-1218-1

This is in reference to the application by Vista Radio Ltd. (Vista) to amend the technical parameters of the radio programming undertaking CJFB-FM Bolton, Ontario, which was published as a Part 1 application on 5 September 2013.

Commission staff would like to inform you that the consideration of Vista’s application as part of the Part 1 process has been suspended due to the fact that the Commission is already in receipt of applications for the use of the 102.7 MHz frequency in the Toronto area.

However, please note that Vista’s application will be considered at a future proceeding. The Part 1 public process which included Vista’s application is closed. Any interventions and responses received relating to the application during the Part 1 process will be added to the public file.

Further, Commission staff notes that the average effective radiated power (ERP) of 17,300 watts, as indicated in section 4.1 of the application does not match the value of 1,700 watts, as specified by Industry Canada. Therefore, please confirm that the average ERP should be 1,700 watts and not 17,300.

The information requested herein should be received by the Commission no later than 16 September 2013.

A copy of this letter and all related correspondence will be added to the public record of the proceeding.

Should you need further information concerning your application, please do not hesitate to contact Angie Rusland by telephone at 819-997-4716 or by fax at 819-994-0218.

Yours sincerely,

Joe Aguiar
