This is in reference to the complaint by Asian Television Network Limited (ATN) regarding the programming of Zee TV Canada; a service that is owned and operated by Ethnic Channels Group Limited (ECGL).
In a letter dated 20 September 2013, ECGL argued that, in ATN’s reply, new information and arguments were raised. In particular, ECGL noted that new facts and analysis that were not included in ATN’s original complaint were raised in ATN’s reply. As a result, ECGL provided its response to this additional information.
In a letter dated 30 September 2013, ATN provided additional written comments in reply to the 20 September 2013 letter filed by ECGL.
Commission staff has determined that ECGL’s letter and ATN’s additional written comments should be added to the public file of this proceeding. The effective date of the close of this record will be the date of the present letter.
In its analysis and determinations on this matter, the Commission will take into account that information which it deems relevant.
A copy of this letter and all related correspondence will be added to the public record of the proceeding.
