RE: Classification of small incumbent local exchange carrier basket 4 and 5 services
Dear Sir/Madam:
On 20 August 2013, Commission staff sent a letter requesting small incumbent local exchange carriers (ILECs) to file certain information regarding their tariffs by 3 September 2013. In order to ensure that interested persons would have sufficient opportunity to review the tariffs in question, Commission staff extended the comment period for the small ILEC basket 4 and 5 service proceedings, allowing (1) interested persons to file comments within 10 days of the date that the small ILEC’s submission had been posted on the Commission’s website, and (2) small ILECs to file reply comments within 15 days of the date that the submission had been posted on the Commission’s website.
As of 30 September 2013, all small ILECs’ responses to the 20 August 2013 Commission staff letter are available on the public record of the proceedings in question. Therefore, the comment period for the small ILEC basket 4 and 5 service proceedings is amended as follows:
• Interested persons may file comments on the small ILECs’ submissions by 10 October 2013.
• The small ILECs may file reply comments by 15 October 2013.
