Call for comments on a Television Service Provider Code of Conduct working document

Clarification of procedure

  1. On 12 May 2015, the Commission announced that it was opening its online discussion forum to facilitate further engagement of Canadians on the issues discussed in Call for comments on a Television Service Provider Code of Conduct working document, Broadcasting Notice of Consultation CRTC 2015-105, 26 March 2015 (the notice). The Commission will accept comments for the online consultation until 25 May 2015.
  2. Following the online consultation period, the record for the online discussion will be made part of the record for this proceeding. Transcripts of the online discussion will also be available on the Commission’s website at www.crtc.gc.ca.
  3. The Commission hereby replaces paragraph 9 of the notice with the following:

    9. The Commission will accept interventions it receives on or before 25 May 2015. To facilitate further engagement of Canadians on the issues discussed in this proceeding, the Commission will conduct an online consultation from 12 May 2015 to 25 May 2015. Following the online consultation period, transcripts will be available on the Commission’s website at www.crtc.gc.ca. The record for the online consultation will be made part of the record for this proceeding. Only parties that file interventions may file a reply to matters raised during the intervention phase, including the online consultation.The deadline for the filing of replies is 4 June 2015.

  4. In addition, following the reply deadline, the Commission may request further information in the form of interrogatories to any party who has filed an intervention as part of this proceeding.
  5. Accordingly, the Commission encourages interested persons and parties to monitor the record for this proceeding, available on the Commission’s website at www.crtc.gc.ca.
