Re: CIDG-FM Ottawa – Part 1 licence renewal application 2015-0993-6

Dear Mr. Torres,

This is in reference to the above-mentioned application for the licence renewal of the English-language commercial radio station CIDG-FM Ottawa.

New informationFootnote 1 has been added to the public record for this proceeding relating to CIDG-FM’s performance evaluation report and its apparent non-compliance with its condition of licence 3(c) regarding Canadian content for category 2 music.Footnote 2

In order to provide sufficient time for the licensee to respond to this information, and for interested parties to comment, the Commission hereby extends the deadline for filing interventions for the proceeding as follows:

Consistent with the Commission’s Rules of Practice and ProcedureFootnote 3 , the licensee will be provided with an opportunity to file a reply to the interventions with the Commission, if applicable, within 10 days after the deadline for intervening (by 21 March 2016).
