RE: Application for Relief Regarding the Master Agreement for Interconnection between Fibernetics Corporation and Bell Canada – Closing of file

Dear Sirs:

On 30 January 2018, the Commission received the above-referenced Part 1 application from Fibernetics Corporation (Fibernetics). Fibernetics requested, amongst other things, an order from the Commission abridging the times permitted for the filing and service of an answer and reply with respect to the interim relief it was seeking. In a letter dated 7 February 2018, Commission staff indicated that the procedural deadlines associated with Fibernetics’ application would remain as set out in the Rules of Procedure.

On 28 February 2018, Fibernetics informed the Commission that it and Bell Canada had come to a negotiated settlement regarding the dispute at the heart of its 30 January 2018 application.

Fibernetics was therefore withdrawing the application and requested that the Commission close the record of the proceeding.

In light of the above, the 30 January 2018 Part 1 application from Fibernetics will now be closed.

Sincerely,

Original signed by
