Quarterly report on streamlined processes and service standards for broadcasting amendment applications processed administratively, by notice and licence renewals processed by Notice

The streamlining processes and the service standards below are monitored pursuant to Streamlined processes for certain broadcasting applications, Broadcasting Circular CRTC 2006-1 and to Introduction of service standards for certain broadcasting applications, Broadcasting Circular CRTC 2006-2.

Streamlined processes

Measurable indicators: In Broadcasting Circular CRTC 2006-1, the objective is to ensure that within 15 business days of receiving an application, the Commission will issue one of the following:

(a) a public notice announcing the application;
(b) a letter approving the application;
(c) a letter requesting clarification; or
(d) a letter returning an application that is deemed incomplete.


Service Standards


In Broadcasting Circular CRTC 2006-2, the Commission has set service standards for the processing of these applications as described in the tables above.


Q1 = 1 April 2008 to 30 June 2008
Q2 = 1 July 2008 to 30 September 2008
Q3 = 1 October 2008 to 31 December 2008
Q4 = 1 January 2009 to 31 March 2009
