The streamlining processes and the service standards below are monitored pursuant to Streamlined processes for certain broadcasting applications, Broadcasting Circular CRTC 2006-1 and to Introduction of service standards for certain broadcasting applications, Broadcasting Circular CRTC 2006-2.

Streamlined processes

Measurable indicators: In Broadcasting Circular CRTC 2006-1, the objective is to ensure that within 15 business days of receiving an application, the Commission will issue one of the following:
(a) a public notice announcing the application;
(b) a letter approving the application;
(c) a letter requesting clarification; or
(d) a letter returning an application that is deemed incomplete.

Service Standards

In Broadcasting Circular CRTC 2006-2, the Commission has set service standards for the processing of these applications as described in the tables above.

Q1 = 1 April 2010 to 30 June 2011
Q2 = 1 July 2010 to 30 September 2010
Q3 = 1 October 2010 to 31 December 2010
Q4 = 1 January 2011 to 31 March 2011
