Opening of Hearing at 9:00 a.m.
Chairman: Order please.
Good morning ladies and gentlemen and welcome to this hearing of the Commission. My name is Tom Pentefountas, Vice-Chairman, Broadcasting and I will chair this hearing. With me on the panel are my colleagues, Steve Simpson, Commissioner, British Columbia and Yukon and Raj Shoan, Commissioner, Ontario Region. Ms. Lynda Roy will be the Hearing Secretary and Ms. Shari Fisher will be our Legal Counsel. Madam Secretary, what are the items on the agenda for today?
Secretary: Thank you Mr. Chairman.
On 9 December 2013, the Commission published Broadcasting Notice of Consultation CRTC 2013-663. The Commission also published 2013-663-1. The applications referenced in these notices are being considered today without the appearance of the parties.
The Commission has received interventions for some of the applications and they have been placed on the public file for this hearing.

Chairman: I should emphasize that the matters that form part of the agenda will be given full consideration by the hearing panel and decisions will be released in due course after consultation with the full Commission. This therefore concludes today's hearing. I wish to thank my colleagues, Legal Counsel and the Hearing Secretary for their assistance. The hearing is now adjourned.
