RE: Request for extension to central office code in-service date

Madam,

On 6 June 2015, Téléphone de St-Éphrem Inc. requested approval for an extension to the in-service date for its 581-220 central office (CO) code.

In its application, Téléphone de St-Éphrem Inc. stated that the sale of the company was approved by shareholders on 28 April, and this transaction has forced the company to temporarily suspend network interconnection work. Therefore, this code is not yet in service. The company is awaiting approval from Industry Canada for the sale of the company and, thereafter, it will resume implementation activities hoping to have the CO code in service for the autumn.

Commission staff considers that Téléphone de St-Éphrem Inc.’s request to extend the in-service date until the end of 30 September 2015 for the CO code is reasonable.

Sincerely,
