RE: Request for Emergency Notification in Fogo Newfoundland and Labrador
Dear Ms. Robinson:
On 21 September 2015, TELUS Communications Company (TCC) requested that Commission staff approve an emergency notification activation date of 29 October 2015 for central office code 709-989 in Fogo, Newfoundland.
In its request, TCC indicated that the code could not be updated in Telecordia due to technical reasons and it was, therefore, requesting the latest date possible in the market launch.
TCC is reminded that it must submit a new Part 1 form to the Canadian Numbering Administrator with the new effective date.
Commission staff considers this request for an emergency notification activation date of 29 October 2015 to be reasonable.
