RE: Request for Emergency Notification for a Test Code for NPA 825 in Alberta
Dear Ms. Bowie:
On 25 November 2015, Bell Canada requested that Commission staff approve an emergency notification activation date of 10 January 2016 for a Test Code for the new NPA 825 in Alberta.
In its request, Bell Canada indicated that it had initially assumed that using other carriers’ test numbers for testing would be sufficient. Bell Canada is now requesting its own Test Code.
Commission staff considers this request for an emergency notification activation date of 10 January 2016 to be reasonable.
Bell Canada is reminded that it must submit a Part 1 form to the Canadian Numbering Administrator with the proposed effective date.
