Decision

Ottawa, 12 April 1985
Decision CRTC 85-186
Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
Cooper Creek, Fort Nelson and Valemount, British Columbia - 842580300 - 842573800 - 842572000
Pursuant to Public Notice CRTC 1985-26 dated 8 February 1985, the Commission approves the applications to amend the broadcasting licences for CBXH Cooper Creek, CBDA Fort Nelson and CBKI Valemount by changing the frequencies from 1,450 kHz to 1,540 kHz (CBXH); 1,240 kHz to 1,560 kHz (CBDA); and 1,450 kHz to 1,350 kHz (CBKI).
These changes in frequency will enable the CBC to avoid a loss in the night-time service of the stations noted above as a result of power increases by former Class IV stations.
Fernand Bélisle Secretary General
