Cariboo Central Interior Radio Inc. Burns Lake, British Columbia - 852331800
Pursuant to Public Notice CRTC 1985-264 dated 11 December 1985, the Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for CFLD Burns Lake by changing the frequency from 1400 kHz to 760 kHz and by increasing the night-time power from 250 watts to 500 watts.
The licensee has indicated that the proposed changes will improve the service to Burns Lake and slightly extend the station's coverage area.
In accordance with paragraph 22(1)(b) of the Broadcasting Act, the commission will only issue the licence amendment, and the authority granted herein may only be implemented, at such time as written notification is received from the Department of Communications that it will issue and amendment to the Technical Construction and Operating Certificate.
