Application (882389000) by the SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH IN NEWFOUNDLAND to amend the broadcasting licence for VOAR St. John's by adding a temporary transmitter site located at VOCM Radio Newfoundland Limited's Newfoundland Limited's transmitter site.
The applicant lost the use of its originally authorized transmitting tower due to storm damage and expects to continue renting a tower from VOCM, as a temporary measure, until appropriate permanent site is obtained.

- by deleting the condition of licence authorizing the licensee to distribute, as part of the basic service, WTVS (PBS) Detroit, Michigan; and
- by adding a condition of licence relieving the licensee from the mandatory carriage requirement of CBUT-1 and CHAN-TV-4 Courtenay, British Columbia; and
to make the following changes:
- by adding a head-end at Saltspring Island, British Columbia for the reception of the currently authorised television signals CKVU-TV (IND) Vancouver, KOMO-TV (ABC), KING-TV (NBC) and KIRO-TV (CBS) Seattle, and FM radio signals CBUF-FM, CFOX-FM, CBU-FM, CFRO-FM and CHQM-FM Vancouver, CFMS-FM Victoria, CFMI-FM New Westminster, KMPS, KUOW, KQKT, KING-FM, KEZX, KISW, KSEA, KPLZ Seattle and KNBQ Tacoma, (Washington).

8. GRAND FORKS, British Columbia
Application (883576100) by BOUNDARY BROADCASTING LTD. (BOUNDARY), P.O. Box 1570, Grand Forks, British Columbia, V0H 1H0, licensee of CKGF-FM Grand Forks, CKGF-1-FM Christine Lake and the new FM stations in Greenwood and in Rock Creek, British Columbia, for approval to transfer the effective control of the licensee from Davis Communications Ltd. (controlled at 60% by Kenneth A. Davis) to the other existing shareholder, Wilfred R. Warner who presently owns 40% of shares.
The transaction will be done in two steps:
Mr. Wilfred Warner will sell his 40% of the issued and outstanding common voting shares and preferred shares in Boundary to Mr. J.W. Gillespie;
Davis Communications Ltd. will sell his 60% of the issued and outstanding common voting shares in Boundary to Mr. Wilfred Warner.
As a result, W.R. Warner would acquire effective control of Boundary (60%) and a new minority shareholder, J.W. Gillespie, owner of the broadcasting receiving undertaking serving Grand Forks would be purchasing the other 40.0% of the common voting shares.
The ownership structure of (Boundary) would therefore be changed as follows:
