The Commission has received the following applications:

1. HULL AND BUCKINGHAM, Quebec
 Applications (891161200, 891160400) by TÉLÉCABLE LAURENTIEN INC. to be relieved, by condition of licence, from the requirement of Sub-section 10(2) of the Cable Television Regulations, 1986, relating to distribution and linkage (Public Notice 1987-261), requiring a cable operator serving a francophone market to distribute The Sports Network (TSN) only on a discretionary basis if he decides to offer this specialty programming service (see other applications in this notice).

2. MONTREAL, Quebec
 Application (891382400) by LE RÉSEAU DES SPORTS (RDS) to amend the condition of licence requiring the licensee to charge the following wholesale rate per subscriber per month to each cable operator wishing to provide Le Réseau des Sports (RDS) on the basic service:
$1.05 from 01/09/89 to 31/08/90; $1.10 from 01/09/90 to 31/08/91; and $1.15 from 01/09/91 to 31/08/92.
Further to agreements between the applicant (Le Réseau des Sports (RDS), The Sports Network (TSN) and Télécâble Laurentien Inc., (see applications by Télécâble Laurentien Inc., items 1 and 3, and The Sports Network (TSN) item 4 contained in this Notice), Le Réseau des Sports (RDS) wishes to eliminate the wholesale rate normally charged to Télécâble Laurentien Inc., and replace it with a joint rate with TSN as follows:
$1.30 from 01/09/89 to 31/08/90; $1.40 from 01/09/90 to 31/08/91; and $1,50 from 01/09/91 to 31/08/92.

$0.88 from 01/09/89 to 31/08/90; $0.97 from 01/09/90 to 31/08/92; and $1.07 from 01/09/92 to 31/08/93.
