Application (911861300) by TÉLÉCABLE LAURENTIEN INC., 190 Edmonton Street, Hull, Quebec, J8Y 3S6, to be relieved, by condition of licence, from the requirement in Sub-section 10(2) of the Cable Television Regulations, 1986 relating to distribution and linkage (Public Notice 1987-261) whereby a licensee operating in a Francophone market who elects to distribute MuchMusic is required to distribute that service as a discretionary service.

Application (912849700) by CHUM LIMITED (MUCHMUSIC NETWORK) to amend its current condition of licence requiring the licensee to charge the following wholesale rate per subscriber, per month to cable operators wishing to provide MuchMusic on the basic service:

$0.08 from 01/09/91 to 31/12/91;
$0.10 from 01/01/92 to 31/12/92; and
$0.08 from 01/01/93 to 31/08/93.

Further to an agreement between the applicant and TélÉcâble Laurentien Inc. (Laurentien) which desires to carry MuchMusic on the basic service, MuchMusic wishes to replace the existing wholesale rate schedule normally charged to Laurentien for its cable system serving Rockland/Clarence Point, Ontario by the following:

$0.01 from 01/01/92 to 31/12/92; and
$0.02 from 01/01/93 to 31/08/93.
