Regional Cable TV (Atlantic) Inc.
The Commission has received the following applications:
ATLANTIC AND QUEBEC REGION
1.  GLACE BAY AND SURROUNDING AREAS, Nova Scotia
Application (199612206) by SEASIDE CABLE T.V. (1984) LIMITED, P.O. Box 279, Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, B1A 5V4, to amend the broadcasting licence of the (cable) distribution undertaking serving Glace Bay and surrounding areas, by adding a condition of licence authorizing the licensee to distribute, at its option, on the basic service, the programming services of WHDH (NBC), WGBH-TV (PBS), WBZ-TV (CBS) and WCVB-TV (ABC) Boston, Massachussets, received via satellite.
The licensee proposes to delete the currently authorized programming services of WXYZ-TV (ABC), WDIV (NBC) and WTVS (PBS) Detroit, Michigan, and WTOL-TV (CBS) Toledo, Ohio.

"It  is a condition of licence that the construction of the area located northwest of Buckingham along Highway 309 be completed and that this area be in operation on or before 10 April 1997."

Your intervention will be considered by the Commission, and will form part of the public record of the proceeding without further notification to you, provided the procedure set out above has been followed. You will be contacted only if your submission raises procedural questions.
