Competitive pay telephone service
The Commission approves NewTel Communications Inc.'s application to reflect that competitive pay telephone service providers are not permitted to limit the duration of local pay telephone calls.
NewTel filed the application on 19 January 2000 on behalf of itself, Island Telecom Inc., Maritime Tel & Tel Limited and NBTel Inc.
The revisions to Regional Services Tariff Item 504 will take effect on 18 February 2000.
