| The Commission approves TCBC's request to increase residential rates to recover a portion of its local competition start-up and local number portability costs as permitted by Order CRTC 2000-143 dated 23 February 2000, and to incorporate the Greater Vancouver surcharges approved in Telecom Order CRTC 99-1134 dated 9 December 1999 into those rates. | |
| The Commission received comments from subscribers opposing the proposed rate increases. | |
| TCBC filed these applications on 31 March 2000 and 7 June 2000 respectively, to revise Items 32 A.1 and 279 of its General Tariff. | |
| These revisions take effect on the date of this order. | |
