CJCD-FM Yellowknife and its transmitter CJCD-FM-1 Hay River - Licence renewal

1.

The Commission renews the broadcasting licence for the radio programming undertaking CJCD-FM Yellowknife and its transmitter CJCD-FM-1 Hay River, from 1 September 2003 to 31 August 2010.

2.

The Commission did not receive any interventions in connection with this application.
3. The licence will be subject to the conditions set out in New licence form for commercial radio stations, Public Notice CRTC 1999-137, 24 August 1999, with the exception of condition of licence no. 10 set out in that notice, as well as to the following condition of licence:
 

The licensee shall broadcast, in any broadcast week, less than 85% hit material as defined in Revised Policy on the Use of Hits by English-Language FM Radio Stations, Public Notice CRTC 1997-42, 23 April 1997, as amended from time to time.

4. In accordance with Implementation of an employment equity policy, Public Notice CRTC 1992-59, 1 September 1992, the Commission encourages the licensee to consider employment equity issues in its hiring practices and in all other aspects of its management of human resources.
