CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee - Consensus items

1.

The Business Process Working Group (BPWG) submitted a consensus report Update to Model PIC/CARE Handbook, dated 8 August 2003, to the CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee for its 29 August 2003 meeting.

2.

In the consensus report, the BPWG proposed an updated Primary Interexchange Carrier/Customer Account Record Exchange Access Customer Handbook (PIC/CARE) manual to clarify and simplify the preparation of PIC/CARE documentation by Local Exchange Carriers.

3.

The consensus report was referred to the Commission for consideration. The report is available through the Commission's web site.

4.

The Commission has reviewed and approves the consensus report.
