Mr. Pellegrino,
This is to confirm our phone discussion of 12 February 2010, further to your letter of 12 February 2010 regarding CTD/CCD obligations.
As discussed, CHSC presently has a shortfall in its CTD/CCD contributions for the years 2007, 2008, 2009 in the amounts of $5,000, $4,500 and $4,500 respectively.
In answering your questions about your understanding of your obligations, I suggested that you look at Public Notice CRTC 2008-67 for an explanation of the framework that applies to your situation - where you have a condition of licence imposed prior to 1 June 2007 setting out CTD obligations.
You agreed to make the necessary contributions to remedy the shortfall and to submit proof of payment once completed.
As a reminder, these contributions should be made to eligible initiatives as set out in paragraph 108 of Public Notice CRTC 2006-158.
A copy of this email and relevant correspondence on this matter will be placed on CHSC's public file.
